Amanda Tucker gets in trouble with mobsters after a money-making scheme goes sour, and she decides to look to the only relative she has: her absent-minded grandfather (Pat Hingle). As she and he grandfather travel to Redemption, Montana, Amanda's naive boyfriend teams up with a pair of mob hitmen to track her down. The ragtag groups encounter one wacky situation after another, but along the way a valuable lesson is learned about finding redemption.
